The objective of the post is to attract the attention of experimental scientists in the field of photonics-lasers and its applications. He/she will need to be self-motivated and able to manage work effectively. The post holder will be expected to take a lead and manage specific project studies, prepare, present and debate proposals in one of the area of
development of IR and UV lasers; organic solid-state lasers; integration of electronics and photonics on a laser device; physics and techniques for intense and femtosecond laser sources; laser construction; interaction between the intense and ultra-short laser and materials; laser driven x-ray sources; laser-plasma physics; nuclear physics with intense lasers; laser nuclear fusion.
